About the place
The bistro is at number 222 at the northern end of Calea Victoriei, about 230 m from Piața Victoriei and right next to the Filipescu-Cesianu House. The interior is in 'Japandi' style, with natural wood and warm light; next door is a second room, Next Room, and outside a terrace.
Brunch is served all day: avocado toast with smoked salmon, eggs Benedict, croque monsieur with truffle. At lunch and dinner the menu draws on Italian, French and Mediterranean cooking. On Google, guests praise the atmosphere, the pasta carbonara, the porchetta and the tiramisu, while a few say the kitchen sometimes closes early.
Good to know
- The kitchen works until 22:00 and the bar until 23:00; on Saturdays it stays open until midnight.
- The Filipescu-Cesianu House at Calea Victoriei 151 is about 90 m away; the Cantacuzino Palace, about 270 m away, can only be seen from outside, as the George Enescu Museum is temporarily closed.
- Book a table for weekend lunches; you can do it through the website.
