About the place
The gallery is on Calea Bucureștilor (the DN1) opposite Henri Coandă Airport and opened in November 2013. The former tennis and ice-hockey player Ion Țiriac has collected about 400 vehicles built from 1899 to the present. Since an extension finished in November 2025, the permanent display holds about 300 cars and motorcycles from Mercedes-Benz, Rolls-Royce, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Cadillac, Harley-Davidson and other makes.
The gallery has all seven Rolls-Royce Phantom models, series I to VII, including two Phantom IVs, a series of which only 18 cars were built between 1950 and 1956. The oldest exhibit is an 1899 Hurtu 3 1/2 Quadricycle. All the vehicles run and are kept up in the gallery's own workshop.
